
Grant Eckhoff

Grant Eckhoff, a partner in the firm, has primarily practiced law in DuPage County since October 1985. Grant Eckhoff formed his own firm in January of 1996. The firm is presently located at 330 South Naperville Road, Suite 404, Wheaton, Illinois 60187. Grant has been a resident of Wheaton since 1965.
Grant is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association and the Kane County Bar Association.
Grant graduated in June 1985, with honors, from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. Previously Grant graduated from James Madison College at Michigan State University where he was on the Dean’s list and majored in Socio-Economic policy problems.
Grant has been active in the community serving 14 years on the Wheaton City Council and now 14 years on the DuPage County Board. Previously, for over 10 years, Grant was a volunteer teacher in the Naperville YMCA Youth-in-Government program, eventually helping to lead the state program by being on the YMCA Youth-in-Government board of directors. Grant is regularly and pleasantly surprised at the courthouse or the legal bar association events, when one of his former students reintroduces himself/herself as a fellow attorney.
Grant focuses his practice in the following areas of litigation: family law, breach of contract, general collection of debt (in state court and bankruptcy court) and residential real estate closings.
